McLaren has been working on it’s Supercar, the P1, for just about a year now. And the fact that it’s worth $1.1 million means that it is trying its best to make sure that it’s worth every penny spent on it. What does that mean? That means sending it into the desert for various tests to make sure that it can perform in temperatures over 125 degrees. What it also means are some absolutely sick pictures from the desert testing. Check out these pictures right here:

I don’t think that anyone can say that they’re exactly “floored” by this data. According to an annual global health survey by Men’s Health magazine, Indian men have the least amount of sex. The magazine surveyed more than 50,000 respondents from more than 30 countries.

Many Indians do not have enough privacy to have sex as often as they might want to because the live in noisy ‘joint family’ homes with their parents and adult siblings,” said Bobby Varkey, managing editor of Men’s Health, to the Telegraph. “The taboo against sex outside marriage may also explain the finding.”

Indian women are like unicorns. You hear about them and how good the hot one’s look, but you never actually see them or get the chance to have sex with them. I’ve been on this earth for 24 years and I know of ONE person who’s ever had sex with an Indian girl. Those odds are astounding.

Croatian men lead the way in the survey of having the most sex. While Indian men averaged three partners throughout their life, Croatian men averaged eleven and had sex outdoors far more than anyone else. Those Croatian dudes, they’re built like Spartan warriors and wetting vaginas worldwide, it’s just what they do.

Finally, British men and women were found to be the kinkiest of them all. I don’t even need to fake it, I am now planning on making a trip out to England. I don’t even care if the ladies have worse teeth than most meth addicts, if I’m drunk I can pretend she’s wearing dentures and not remember it in the morning. When you’re in a slump, get yourself to England. The survey says you’ll be happy you did it.

Normally a bunch of dudes riding unicycles wouldn’t be a huge hit on the internet. But throw in some football, put the whole thing in slow motion and suddenly everyone thinks that this is the coolest thing they have ever seen. I can’t totally say it’s the coolest thing I’ve ever seen, but it’s still pretty amazing how you can attempt to multitask anything while on a unicycle.

Did anyone else realize that they’re playing on concrete? These guys are diving all over the place on cement. I really hope for their sake that they have great health coverage. However, you have to love the commitment. They decided to go all in and now they’re playing their hearts out even if it means broken bones and blood everywhere. Remember that pain heals, chicks dig scars and glory lasts forever.

The NFL and 4,500 former players reached a settlement for $765 million according to court papers released Thursday. The former players sued the NFL, accusing it of hiding the dangers of brain injury while making money off of the sports violent nature. The money will provide medical benefits and injury compensation for retired NFL players, as well as fund medical and safety research and cover the litigation expenses.

Believe it or not this isn’t actually only a victory for the former players but it’s also a victory for the NFL. Rumors swirling about this situation claimed that the settlement could have plummeted the NFL into bankruptcy. However, the $765 million appears to be very affordable for the league.

The final hurdle in the deal is the approval of United States District Judge Anita Brody. Once she approves the settlement it will officially be a done deal. This is something that could have dragged out for many years if it had decided to hear each case individually. But the league made the smart decision and settled on a number that everyone involved can now be happy with.

The only thing left for the league to do is to try and keep making the game safer. I fully believe that although they will never make the game completely safe because the men playing it will only keep getting bigger, faster and stronger; it can  take some steps in the right direction. I just hope that by making the game safer, we don’t lose the integrity and nature of the game. Hitting is part of it, guys are going to get hurt. Sometimes, even though it’s unfortunate, there is nothing you can do to fully prevent it.

However, it’s tough to disagree that this isn’t hilarious. If I was strolling into work and saw this thing coming at me, I would need and endless supply of toilet paper. This is about as close as you can get to a perfect prank. Kudos to these people on this, the execution gets an A plus in my book. Are we sure that wasn’t Chris Bosh?

James Andrew Miller of the New York Times was the first person to report on ESPN’s decision to pull out of its investigative project with PBS about concussions in the NFL. Miller is also reporting that the reason for ESPN pulling out is because of pressure from the NFL itself.

The project had been in production for the last fifteen months and was a partnership between ESPN and “Frontline,” the PBS public affairs series. However, after the trailer for the documentary was released on August 6th, ESPN was apparently being pressured by the NFL to back out. This all culminated last week at a lunch in Manhattan where NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and president of the NFL Network Steve Bornstein met with ESPN President Steve Skipper and ESPN’s vice president of executive production John Wildhack.

Discussed was the direction that the film was heading in. What the NFL was apparently unhappy about was that the documentary was trying to show the league turning a blind eye to the fact that players were actually sustaining brain trauma that could lead to long term disabilities. Why would the NFL have a problem with ESPN being involved in this? Maybe because ESPN is profiting over $1 billion a year from the NFL.

Obviously, ESPN came out right away and denied allegations it was under any pressure by the NFL to back out of the film and claimed it was backing out because it did not have editorial control over what appeared on public television. But PBS refuted that saying that ESPN knew for a while that both PBS and ESPN would have editorial control over what they published on its own networks.

Miller is reporting that when ESPN said that it did not want its  logo attached to the films, it did not appear to sound like it was ESPN’s decision. Even former league doctors who agreed to interviews with “Frontline” have now backed out. It also doesn’t help that the NFL is currently in federal court with over 4,000 former players and their families arguing that the league has tried to hide for years it’s knowledge about the long term effects and dangers about repeated hits to the head.

After fifteen months of work, the fact that a project of this magnitude has suddenly come to a screeching halt is extremely fishy. There is a slim chance that this is just something that is coincidental. It’s pretty obvious that the NFL was not happy about ESPN’s involvement in the film because of how much money ESPN generates from them each year.

It’s also clear that the league is trying to clean up concussions with the new rules that have been put in place to try and prevent them on the field. But that doesn’t mean the NFL wants its dirty laundry being aired out on national television anytime soon. Maybe the NFL wants to sweep this information under the rug, and maybe it doesn’t. The public will never fully know the truth. But it’s pretty clear that the NFL did not want ESPN having any part in this film or this investigation.

With Allen Iverson’s announcement that he is officially retiring from the NBA, the first memory that has to pop into everyone’s mind is Iverson’s infamous “Practice” rant. At the time, it was the press conference heard ’round the world, and still to this day, sports outlets everywhere feel the need to commemorate it in some way. However, the back story behind the rant can now be known to all. According to Gary Payton, he is the man behind the rant.

The story goes a little like this: Iverson asked Payton how he always managed to remain on the court and stay in great shape. Payton responded, “I told him for real that my coach, George Karl, didn’t let me practice. That was it. I said, ‘You have to stop practicing.’” We can clearly see that Iverson took that advice to heart.

When you look back after all is said and done, there is a chance that Payton’s advice did hold some water. Payton played 80 or more games 12 times in his career while Iverson played 80 or more games only three times. Let’s give Gary Payton a whole lot of credit for this. He created one of the greatest press conference rants in the history of professional sports. And I totally counted the number of times that Iverson said the word “practice.” In case you’re wondering, that number is 22.5 times in a 2.5-minute span. If that’s not getting your point across, then I don’t know what is. I’ll even let you count for yourself:

In what is shocking news to some people, David Ortiz of the Boston Red Sox came out and publicly disapproved of teammate Ryan Dempster hitting New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez on Sunday night. Some would say that Dempster throwing at Rodriguez turned the game around. Prior to hitting A-Rod, the Red Sox lead 2-0. After the incident, the Yankees would tie the game at 2.

Boston would then take the lead back and go up 6-3, Rodriguez lead off the 6th inning with a solo home run off Dempster that propelled the Yankees to score three more runs in the inning to take a 7-6 lead and eventually win the game 9-6. “I didn’t like it, I don’t think it was the right thing to do,” Ortiz told USA TODAY Sports. He would also add, “But we all don’t think alike, but the guy who did it, Dempster, is a great guy.”

Clearly, Dempster woke up a sleeping giant in that Yankees team. The support by Yankees manager Joe Girardi and the rest of the team was overwhelming and a little bit surprising to some. Girardi would be ejected for arguing that Dempster wasn’t thrown out of the game. Dempster threw the first pitch behind A-Rod’s knees, followed by two pitches inside and finally ending with Dempster drilling A-Rod in the elbow.

Ortiz would also go on to say, “It’s not that I didn’t think it was right because Alex and I are friends, because once you cross the white lines everyone’s on their own. But we’ve got Tampa right on our heels and that pitch woke up a monster in that Yankees’ team at that moment.” The Red Sox currently hold a one game lead in the American League East over the Tampa Bay Rays.

For all those who know a little bit about history and PED’s in baseball, this situation is a little bit ironic. It was reported back in 2003 that David Ortiz was one of 100 players who had failed a drug test before the new testing policy was put in place. Ortiz vehemently denied that he ever used performance enhancing drugs and it’s still never mentioned to this day. Now he’s publicly backing Rodriguez, it’s actually irony at its finest.

Finally, the Yankees are 10-3 since A-Rod returned to the lineup and are now only four games behind the Orioles for the second American League wild card berth. They also have seven games remaining against the Orioles, seven against the Red Sox and six against the Rays. The AL East and wild card races are heating up and making for an exciting final month of the season. If the Yankees make the playoffs, we may all look back to that Sunday night in Boston as the night that turned it all around.

It’s not even debatable that this is the greatest welcome speech in the history of welcome speeches. There is literally no way that any person, anywhere could top this. Let’s recap. He had all the basics covered. First, he quoted Isaac Newton, which was an absolutely dynamite way to start. Quoting Isaac Newton is about as fail proof as you can get.

Next, he told a group of engineers that if they wanted to build the Iron Man suit, that they could do that. What engineer hasn’t thought about trying to build the Iron Man suit? And finally, he referenced himself and his theme music during his bad ass speech. There was absolutely nothing missing from the speech, it was all around amazing. Before this speech he probably didn’t have a great amount of luck with the ladies. Now that his speech has gone viral this dude’s going to be fighting off women with a stick. We may actually find him suffocating under a pile of women in those little yellow hats you saw towards the end. By the way, how do I get myself one of those little yellow hats? I feel like you haven’t lived until you’ve walked around in public wearing on of those.

If you don’t love watching Mike Tyson do anything and everything then there’s something wrong with you. I would love nothing more than to have a camera following around Mike Tyson all day every day. Now that would be a great TV show. Look at him here. He’s so giddy and happy playing his own video game for the first time in 26 years.

You have to love the fact that he did what every kid does the first time they play a video game. He just pressed all the buttons as hard and as fast as he could hoping for the best. Even though he had absolutely no clue what he was doing, he was trying with every bone in his body to win the fight. It actually sounds a little bit like his boxing career now that I think about it. Minus the ear biting thing of course.

Personally, I would have loved to see him win and break out into singing his version of “One Night in Bangkok.” But that would just be wishful thinking.
