Whoops, Michelle Obama! Did you really mean to say that? Yesterday, the FLOTUS innocently tweeted an update to her followers, describing her and President Barack Obama’s activities commemorating Sept. 11.

Granted, the KaBoom organization actually “works to bring balanced and active play into the daily lives of all children, particularly those growing up in poverty in America,” so it was a noble gesture on the part of the First Couple. But talk about an awkward coincidence on the anniversary of 9/11!

Samantha Lile is a 2002 Missouri State University graduate of journalism and mass media. She has served as a reporter and editor for various newspapers throughout her journalism career. She made the leap into writing full-time after working for a major financial institution since 2000.
